Is a system of manual therapy that addresses dysfunction and pain within the musculoskeletal system. The massage therapist assesses the client to determine what structures are affected, and then supplies soft tissue techniques designed to alleviate pain, normalize tonicity, and restore range of motion. A full massage session that targets precise ailments that is meant to achieve a specific goal. Not always relaxing but results in driven work. Typically requires at least 3+ sessions.

Sports Massage

Helps athletes prevent injuries, reduce swelling, aid circulation and prevent the build up of adhesions. We offer treatments for achilles tendonitis, cramp, hamstring strain, tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), golfer's/thrower's elbow (medial epicondylitis), rotator cuff injury, shin splints and sprained or twisted ankle. This is an active massage that focuses on increasing flexibility and range of motion by applying stretches and deep pressure.

Deep Tissue Massage

A type of massage therapy that involves applying direct pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia.  Relieves chronic muscle tension, reduces inflammation and can help in eliminating scar tissues.  Deep tissue massage focuses only on specific areas of the body.

Reflexology

Reflexology targets specific points on the feet, hands and ears with intent to address concerns throughout the body. Study show that direct pressure to these reflex points correspond to and beneficially affect various organs and body systems. This specialized massage results in productive, relieving effects on a person's general overall health.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage uses five styles of strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are effleurage (sliding or gliding), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fiber or with the fibers) and vibration/shaking. A massage meant to achieve ultimate relaxation using long flowing strokes with varying pressure customized to the individual.

Prenatal Massage

A modality that's specifically tailored toward expecting women. Can be performed during any trimester as long as the pregnancy is not high risk and the mother-to-be has no contraindicated conditions. Meant to result in relaxation and to address any achy or sore areas typical during pregnancy. Usually performed in a side lying position with plenty of cushioning.
